This bootcamp gives you full-time, immersive training—just like the pros. You’ll use real EDA tools (including our proprietary analog layout accelerator) and work with expert mentors in a studio-style environment. No fluff. Just skill.

Each path is a 360-hour, full-time commitment designed to get you deeply skilled, fast. You’ll master core concepts, build a working design portfolio, and graduate with real-world skills—not just class notes.

🌀 Basic Analog Design

Learn the core of precision: current mirrors, amplifiers, layout, and noise. Work hands-on with real analog building blocks and get layout experience using advanced automation.

Master combinational and sequential logic design, finite state machines, and synthesis. Build digital systems from concept to gate-level implementation.

🧠 RTL (Register-Transfer Level) Design

Dive into Verilog/SystemVerilog, simulation, and synthesis. Build real-time logic for FPGAs and ASICs. You’ll go from RTL coding to full design verification.

Understand how computers work under the hood. Explore instruction sets, pipelines, caches, and memory systems by building a simplified processor core from scratch.

Most companies give you limited access to design tasks due to IP concerns. That’s not how we work.

At Western Semiconductor, you’ll design real circuits using real tools—including our proprietary EDA platform that automates the most complex part of analog layout.
What normally takes a year, you’ll complete in a month. This is industry-grade training in a startup-speed environment.

This isn’t theoretical training. It’s the same hands-on, creative, and rigorous process we use internally to evaluate and grow engineering talent. Many of our past trainees have gone on to become full-time engineers at Western Semiconductor. While we don’t guarantee job offers, we actively consider top performers for roles on our team.

  • 1. Logistics & Location
    • Where is the bootcamp held?
      • All sessions are held in person at our Western Semiconductor training center in Tempe, Arizona. You’ll need to live locally for the duration of the program.
    • Do you provide housing?
      • We don’t offer housing, but we’ll share a curated list of affordable rentals, student housing options, and short-term accommodations near our campus.
    • What’s the daily schedule?
      • ⏰ Full-Time
        Monday–Friday
        Choose 7AM–2PM or 2–9PM blocks
      • ⏰ Part-Time
        Saturday & Sunday
        6-9PM
      • Both schedules will include: lab time, lectures, and team design work.
  • 2. Admissions & Cost
    • How much does it cost?
      • Tuition is $8950.
    • Who should apply?
      • Ideal candidates are current MSEE students, recent graduates, or working engineers looking to transition into semiconductor design roles.
    • What are the requirements to apply?
      • You’ll need a background in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field.  Basic familiarity with circuit design, digital logic, or RTL depending on the track.  All tracks may have a short technical screening or interview process.
    • What’s the application process?
      • Fill out an online form, submit a resume, and complete a short technical screening. Some tracks may require a brief video interview.
  • 3. Certification & Career Outcomes
    • Will I get a certificate?
      •  Yes, graduates receive a signed Certificate of Completion that can be shared with employers and added to LinkedIn.
    • Is this program accredited?
      • This is an industry-led training program, not a university-accredited degree. It’s designed to prepare you for real roles, not academic credit.
    • Is job placement guaranteed?
      • We don’t guarantee placement, but we have a strong track record. Many of our graduates land roles at leading semiconductor companies.
    • Will I get an internship/job after?
      • While we don’t guarantee placement, we have a strong track record of connecting top-performing students with paid internships and full-time roles. Many of our alumni now work at top semiconductor companies.
